Service Description

What is microchanneling? A single Procell treatment creates hundreds of thousands of microchannels. In response to each micro-injury, an inflammatory healing process begins which initiates the formation of new collagen. Over time, the repeated healing process improves the surface texture and the overall appearance of the skin. Is microchanneling the same as microneedling? Microchanneling is an advanced form of traditional microneedling. ProCell’s unique vertical stamping technique delivers evenly distributed, cleaner channels without tearing the skin and causing more damage than necessary. It’s less painful and virtually no downtime. Why ProCell Microchanneling? ProCell Therapies Serums are derived from human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells and contain pro-healing, anti-inflammatory growth factors, and cytokines. These growth factors support cellular renewal and have potent regenerating properties to improve skin firmness, elasticity, and tone! What skin conditions will this help with? Microchanneling treatments can improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, acne scarring, stretch marks, and rosacea. How long before I can expect to see results? Though neocollagenesis (the production of new collagen) can take several weeks, it is not abnormal to notice an improvement in the quality and appearance of your skin within the first 24 hours. After 2-3 treatments a thicker more robust, collagen filled cellular matrix will produce more consistent and noticeable improvement. And 6 or more treatments may be recommended for scarring, laxity and wrinkles. Are there any contraindications? If you have any underlying condition that significantly impairs your immune system, it is a good idea to avoid microchanneling. Examples include but are not limited to active radiation or chemotherapy, uncontrolled diabetes, chronic inflammatory skin disease, Accutane in the past 2 years, hemophilia or similar bleeding disorder. Also anyone with stainless steel allergies should not do this treatment. We also discourage treatments for those who are pregnant or nursing. What is the difference between Pro Serum and MD Serum? Pro Serum is highly concentrated human growth-factor serums derived from bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells which are known to promote scarless healing in an anti-inflammatory environment. MD Serum contains twice the growth factors found in our Pro serum along with additional ingredients such as TGF-ß3 and IL-1.
